Deluxe Junior Suite FAQs

What does the Deluxe Junior Suite at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa look out on?
The suite has a garden view and is reached along exterior corridors. It suits guests who want a calm, green outlook rather than a premium upgrade. The resort sits directly on the beach in Akumal, and the beach, pools and restaurants are all on the property.
How are the beds arranged and how many people can the suite sleep?
The Deluxe Junior Suite sleeps up to 5 guests. It comes with 1 king bed or 2 double beds, plus a double-size sofa bed. Blackout drapes and climate-controlled air conditioning help everyone sleep well. A free crib is available for little ones.
What is the bathroom like?
The private bathroom has a jetted bathtub and a separate bathtub and shower. You also get bathrobes, slippers, designer toiletries, shampoo, soap, towels and a hair dryer.
Is the suite accessible for guests with mobility needs?
The suite is offered with accessibility features, including an accessible bathtub, a bathroom grab bar and a phone accessibility kit. Access is via exterior corridors. Free self-parking, including accessible parking, is available on site.
How does this suite compare with the other room categories?
Every one of the resort's 946 rooms is configured as a Deluxe Junior Suite, so there is no category above or below it to weigh up. The choice is between a king bed or two double beds, and the suite's 559 sq. ft. comfortably holds a family of up to five.
What is included with my stay in this suite?
The suite comes with the resort's all-inclusive package. That covers buffet meals with house wine by the glass, unlimited à la carte themed dinners by reservation, 24-hour snacks, and domestic and select international drinks from 9 AM to 2 AM. Included activities cover non-motorized water sports (kayak and snorkeling, one hour per guest per day), tennis, cycling, football and volleyball. In the suite itself you get a free stocked minibar and free bottled water. Spa treatments may carry an extra charge, and some room service items do too.
Is the Deluxe Junior Suite a good choice for families or couples?
Both work well. For families, the resort has a free Kids Club for ages 4 to 12, a children's pool, a teen club and a free crib on request. Couples can use the quiet adults-only pool, the adults-only Carnal restaurant, and the spa with its couples' treatment rooms. Guests under 18 cannot use the spa except for special kids' treatments.
What should I know about dining and room service?
Room service runs on limited hours, roughly 11 AM to 11 PM, and some items cost extra. The à la carte restaurants need reservations and a smart-casual dress code. Guests are advised to book them on arrival day. Dinner is served from 17:45 to 21:15 at the venues with published hours.
How far is the resort from the airport, and what should I know about arrival?
The resort is in Akumal, about 60–90 minutes' drive from Cancún International Airport. Tulum and Playa del Carmen are each roughly 30 minutes away. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is at noon. The guest checking in must be at least 18 and show photo ID and a credit card. A resort usage fee of $10 USD per person per stay applies, payable by credit card.
